Sarah really hit some big shots for us,. It was close midway through the second half. Meredith had another solid game. We took the ball to the basket a lot more.

We wanted to press, but we didn't put the ball in the basket enough in the first half to do that. Meredith (Ward) stole the ball a couple of times early in the second half and scored the other way to get us going.

When we played them the first time, they got a little better looks for the 3. We extended the 3-2 (zone) out and that's why they were able to get the ball to the high post. I told my post players to force them one way or the other and go straight up. They were getting good looks. But fortunately for us, they were having problems putting it in.

They played man-to-man and we did a better job of hitting the outlet and pushing the ball.

They were hitting some long shots there at the end.

We knew they (Exeter) were better than Tuesday night. We knew we would have a tough game. The kids know they can play with a Division I team.

Kate has been coming along nicely. She has stepped it up the past few games and we've needed her.

She was fronting and we pushed back a little tonight. It was a physical game.

When I showed up Friday half of them were asleep. It really took a toll. We were very flat.
