Tracey always surprises me. He'll get a steal out of nowhere or hit a shot. Tonight he just stepped up big. With our kids, somebody different comes up every game and does something spectacular. And Tracey did that tonight.

He saw that he wasn't getting the ball, and he gave up. He just gave up. That's the best way I can put it. I'm not going to have the team go down with him.

Here we are in the state championships. This was not the time to be quiet. It's a time for everybody to speak up and say what they have to say. Then we can put the pieces together and find out what we can do to make things turn out all right.

Instead of treating it like another game, they treated it like a championship. Instead of playing to win, they played not to lose.
