Richford has been down all year. They have had some injuries and played late last night and had a long bus ride. We also had some players who shot the ball well and got a lot of looks from a lot of players.
It was a close game all the way. We pulled away in the fourth quarter, and the defense was good. The foul-line shooting was good.
We played ugly early, but as the game got along we played a little bit better. We got a lot of players in and everyone saw playing time. We were trying to work on some fundamentals, but it was a good outcome.
Sam had a great night on the boards. Lake Region had some big three-pointers that bothered us a little bit, but we had some kids come off the bench, so we were okay.
It was a close game all the way. Ryan hit two big free throws to ice it.
We had good game conduct. There were a couple of things we were really trying to do, and we did them. We wanted to make sure we found D.J. Campbell early and limited his touches. And we were committed to running, but only at the right times.
We got trashed up there. There were a couple of things we were able to do tonight that made the difference.
