We hope every year that this is going to be the one. I can't wait for the derby. It sounds cocky to say you expect to win, but I'm going with the idea that we have a pretty good horse.

It hasn't really sunk in yet. I'd say it's a dream come true. I look at it as a real gift. It's just a gift that's been given to us and we're extremely lucky.

It's a freak, isn't it.

He's a gentleman. He doesn't waste time with the negative.

That's when we knew he could be very special. The question was always about how he would do on the dirt, and he proved himself that day.

He'd stay up all night in the barn and stagger back up, and I'd go down and [right away] foal the thing. That happened a couple of times. Or Penn would be playing basketball, or Villanova. He'd go to the game and she would foal.

You've been climbing the ladder for 30 years, trying to get a great racehorse.

We're having a good time, and we don't see why it should stop.

He was the picture of perfection. We just knew he'd make a perfect trainer for some of our horses.
