I think that is totally uncalled for and inaccurate because the staff here is more than willing to work with people to help them through the process.
I think that's an excellent idea. They should do that whether they have their own building department or not.
(The code) says if you're going to put the safety and health of the public in this facility, you will do this if you're going to get a building permit. I take pride in helping people but we can't design buildings for them.
That's absolutely not true. I apologized if we weren't communicating well ... but there is not a single thing on there that's not a code requirement.
