I'm not sure it would have mattered. We didn't have her. There's no excuses. We needed others to step up and not enough did.

This was the toughest. There was a point this year I didn't think we'd finish .500.

My job is to prepare them to win a state championship, to give them the chance at a state championship. Those early season losses were good for them. They've grown and developed.

We finished great this season, except for tonight. We had to be active and aggressive against a very athletic team and we just didn't do that.
