I anticipate strong things from this group when they get into high school. The eighth-graders and sixth-graders are strong, too.

It's a challenge, because we typically have one week of practice before Christmas and then one week before we get into our games. The kids improved significantly throughout the season. It's always a challenge for us because there are so many other things to do in Steamboat.

We do fundamentals like shooting, passing, dribbling and defense. As soon as we can, we get into game situations so they can become familiar with them.
