She dominated. She killed us from inside and from the free throw line. We couldn't drive the ball, and the one thing that kills us is when get unbalanced in our scoring. Amanda was proving us with a lot of points in the first half, but when they shut her down in the second, we didn't have anyone there to pick up the slack.

The key for us down the stretch is going to be our balance. We have a lot of talent, but we need to step up and play as a team.

She's a big part of this team, and the girls really look up to her.

I'm really pleased that we have real strong balance in our program right now. What we're working on right now is maintaining the level of play and getting our bench more involved because we really have a tough schedule coming up.

We were optimistic going in, but it's very difficult as a Division 4 team. We don't have the luxury of playing mediocre teams. Each game we play, we have to come out with our best stuff. But I think we played them hard and at times played well.

They did a good job of making adjustments in the second half. They doubled Amanda and prevented her from getting any good looks at the basket or making any drives to the basket.

We're starting to click at the right time, and I think that's key. We've got five kids on the floor at all times that are capable of scoring in double digits.

That's what we're looking for is balanced scoring. If we can get balanced scoring, we're going to be successful.

After the first half, we realized they didn't have the offensive guns to beat us, so we settled back into a 2-3 defense. There's no need to press when you can beat them with a straight defense.
