His last piece of work was on Wednesday. I was very pleased with him. He is fresh and well and I am very happy.

Everything has to go well for him in a race now, so we'll have to see about the future. It's too soon to make any decision (on retirement). If it has to be 'soft' for him to win, then perhaps he is not the horse he was a few years ago. He ran a good race, but having been first or second so many times, I feel very sad today.
