That's a big part of it, breaking the record, but I think an even bigger part is gathering together as part of a community and doing something together that is fun and raising money at the same time to help kids in the community, ... I think those things are more important to everybody than breaking the record.

All registered parade participants who have not picked up their decals can do so at the front desk of Laurel Manor Center through Friday.

After that, it will be permanently displayed at The Villages Chamber of Commerce at Spanish Springs, unless something changes, but right now that is the plan.
