Her career-high rank is World No. 21, achieved in July 2013. Vesnina is a two-time Grand Slam (tennis)/Grand Slam champion in doubles competition, having won the 2013 French Open and the 2014 US Open (tennis)/2014 US Open tournaments with Ekaterina Makarova.
