Jack was a monster. He led us in scoring, but beyond that the number of rebounds he got and the defense he played was incredible.

The thing we talked about all week was playing fundamentally sound. If you do that, it's hard for a team to get a run. Runs normally happen when somebody breaks down, and I didn't think we had any huge breakdowns.

That's pretty typical of how we like to win ballgames. One night someone will score more, and the next it's someone else. That is the bedrock of this team.

It was very strange (not having Coach Roberts here because) he and I started coaching together here 21 years ago. It was unusual for us not to be together. He's feeling better though.
