The reaction from the players and the staff was as you might expect. We talked about the expectations this club places on players and how we are going to go forward.

We are all secure and understand that (playing under a developmental contract) won't be his role next year. He's demonstrating on a pretty regular basis he can play in this league.

We are looking forward to our semifinal match against Minnesota in front of our home fans. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to host the U.S. Open Cup Championship at The Home Depot Center as well.

We'll evaluate the staff at the end of the season and make a decision. But there's been no denying I'm not overwhelmed with our record so far.

We don't have that hiccup, so we'll be playing some games early at home and in August, we'll be on the road.

He'll be here in January and be a part of the preseason all next year. I think we've taken the right approach by letting him finish his academic career and letting him concentrate on the U-17 tournament.

We are very grateful to Jovan for his services both on and off the field and wish him all the best in the future. Not only to do we gain a valuable draft pick in return for Jovan, but we open up a valued roster spot which we will fill prior to the September 15 deadline.

We look forward to traveling to Portland to play against the Timbers. Our organizations have always enjoyed a great relationship, which can only be bettered by meeting one another on the field.

The university is intently investigating any grounds to withdraw recognition of the organization.
