For these negotiations to go forward, we felt the commission needs to delegate one of its own to negotiate. I think we owe that to the citizens of Palm Beach County and the state of Florida.
Who in their right mind is going to give us money for research if there's a risk it would go back to Palm Beach County?
If it helps, it's great; if it doesn't, it doesn't. There's nothing more than that to it.
If we are going to leave the county, it has to be next week.
We're very happy that the first step has been taken. We have a lot more work to do before we can bring this project to fruition.
We have a window of opportunity to make this work in the state. I do not believe we can continue to negotiate exclusively with the county.
It's either going to come together or it's not.
We've never taken out one of these bonds before.
