We started off slow. Male was getting good pitching and we weren't swinging the bats that well, but we got going later on and the hits started to drop in for us. We haven't played in several days and it took us awhile to get going.

That's the reason this was such an important game. This gives us an opportunity to host a first-round playoff series if we can win out next week. That's what we wanted.

Chas did a heck of a job pitching. He had control of his pitches and was able to put the ball where he wanted to.

We've competed against each other for close to 30 years. We've not only coached against each other, but we're all good friends. It's just been fun being around those guys. They'll be missed.
