"Dominique "Domi" Helena Moceanu" is a retired Americans/American gymnast. She was a member of the Olympic Gold medal winning 1996 U.S. Women's Gymnastics team in Atlanta (the "Magnificent Seven (gymnastics)/Magnificent Seven").

The hallmarks of Moceanu's gymnastics, in the early stage of her elite career, were daring tricks on balance beam and spunky, inspired presentations on the floor exercise. Later, under the direction of new coaches, she developed a more elegant, mature style. She often performed her best in National meets. Although never considered an overwhelmingly clean or innovative gymnast, she displayed a high level of difficulty and personality in her beam and floor exercises.

It's really quite an honor for me to still be able to do this, 10 years later. If my autograph can make someone smile or make their day, I'll do it until the day I die.

I thought, 'Why am I not out there? I can still do this.' I felt I still had a lot of good gymnastics left in me that people didn't get to see.

I was forced out of the sport into retirement through injuries. I wasn't ready to leave.

I'm probably in the best shape I've been in since 2000. Six months after this new procedure was used -- less invasive surgery -- I was able to start doing everything again.

I was always kinda fearless in everything I did.
