Whitney played extremely well in the U.S. Amateur before she started college golf. She beat a lot of really accomplished players, which was really a testament to her abilities.

We're looking forward to her having a good weekend this week.

The fall was an up and down performance by our team but I'm excited about the spring and I think they will do better. But we'll have to wait and see.

Being Big Ten freshman of the year was a nice accomplishment. She adds a lot to the team other than good golf scores.

The tournament in Puerto Rico in late February has 18 teams, 12 of which are ranked in the top 25 in the country. So, it's a talented field and will be a great challenge.
