He's building a team for Loyola whether he knows it or not. People follow what he does and he sets the tone. He's making sure our team [will be strong] next year.

This team seems to be focused. They know what it will take and if we continue to do that we have a chance to do very well. Right now the big thing for us is getting good practice habits, so when it comes down to just times, we are all ready.

He's a very talented athlete. He's got it [mentally] and he's got it physically. He likes to race and you can't teach that.

We have to do it one step at a time. We hope a little bit more experience than last year will get us in the top 10. These kids rely on each other. People say swimming is an individual sport, but it's not at Loyola Academy.
