The final result - a balloon on a skewer - looks great, and seems impossible. But if you follow the instructions it's actually easy to do, even though you'll be convinced the balloon is bound to burst. It might go wrong every once in a while, but this will just provide extra amusement for your audience.

Don't try skipping out on the plate part by telling yourself it'll be fine if you flip the glass quickly. I tried this and the results were a little damper than I'd hoped.
