They called this meeting at the last minute, and we believe it was partially an attempt to stop the vote from taking place. There was no need to have that meeting Tuesday night, pushed through quickly without thought or discussion.

As we've seen, no students have been harmed. In my 10 years doing this, I've never seen anything like this.

They had already budgeted to pay people for all the school year. The responsible thing to do was, when they knew litigation was coming, to hang onto that money in case they had to pay it.

It's the kind of stuff that is not termination-level.

Terminating those teachers benefited no one, certainly not the students. Maybe it benefited someone's ego.
