We took care of business. Even though we didn't have our 'A' game the whole day, we still made plays when we needed to.
Both teams were a little bit tight throughout the match. It wasn't the cleanest of matches, but it certainly had the drama that a lot of people wanted to see.
Linn-Mar made a little run on us in the first game and tied it up, but we were able to get back into our rhythm. We didn't come out real strong as far as our hitting. But in Games 2 and 3 we passed better and were able to use more offensive weapons than they had.
They came out and passed really well. They're very athletic, and were able to terminate a lot of points in the beginning. Serving and defense won us the ballgame.
It was more of a measuring stick. The teams that were there where the teams that people have been talking about.
The kids remained calm. I was pleased with the way they handled themselves.
