We know we have to sharpen up a lot. We've got to play smarter and not make stupid passes.

I'd first like to apologize to my family, teammates and coaches for not meeting NCAA standards, but I'll continue to pursue my criminal justice degree. I'll learn from this experience and look forward to becoming very productive in life and as a student here at Maryland.

I love this team. Once we turn on the second gear we're off to the races. We can play with anybody in the country. It's up to us to go out on the court and just do it.

It can only go one of two ways now, up or down. I think this year we really want it.

That's the style Coach likes, and that's why I came here.

When I woke up late I knew I wasn't starting.

That was the first thing the coach told us when we were going over BC: They shoot 26 free throws a game and their opponents average 11 free throws. That's basically how they've been winning games. We just wanted to contain them and stay between them and the basket.
