"Charles Joseph "Charlie" Weis" is an American football coach who most recently was the head coach for the Kansas Jayhawks football/Kansas Jayhawks. For five years, from 2005 through 2009, Weis was the head football coach for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football/Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He has also served as an offensive coordinator in the National Football League, for the New York Jets, New England Patriots, and Kansas City Chiefs.
