The point is that the studio owns the franchise, and they can do without any of us.

Scooby-Doo is an icon, just like Batman is an icon, ... We will do another at some point, I'm sure, but nothing is in the works. We have had good successful releases, but for the moment we need to give it a break.

[Batman Begins producer Charles Roven told SCI FI Wire that the cast is signed on for a sequel, the script is in the works, new cast members are being discussed and the only delay is an OK by director Christopher Nolan.] We all hope there is going to be another one, ... We're waiting for Chris Nolan to declare himself. We will do it after he does that.

Steve will take the part of Maxwell Smart to a whole new level, ... He will not be as bumbling, and it will be in a contemporary setting.

That movie, for all of the tragedy of what happened during the making of it, clearly shows that whatever anybody can say about Terry and his passion for making movies that sometimes makes his movies more difficult to make, you can't control the weather and you can't control the fact that a guy came to his set with a prostate problem and never should have gotten on a horse.

We're getting the script together, and there will be some of the usual characters: a Chief, 99, CONTROL and KAOS, ... The script has to be there before we want to make it, but Steve will make it funny.

It's up to [director] Chris Nolan and his schedule. He wants to make another movie first.

The parts of Shaggy, Daphne, Freddie and Velma [played by Linda Cardellini] are all iconic and not really personality-driven, so it doesn't really matter who plays those roles, ... But it is true that Matthew nailed it.

It was a pleasure collaborating with Bryan Barber and OutKast in 2002, and I knew then that their talents would translate across all creative mediums. I am thrilled we at Mosaic were given the opportunity to work with them again and to help make this project a reality.
