"Charles William Gregory" was an Australian cricketer who played for New South Wales cricket team/New South Wales.

In November 1906, Gregory scored 383 for New South Wales against Queensland cricket team/Queensland, at the time an Australian record.

Gregory was born in Sydney; he died at the age of 32 in the Darlinghurst region of the same city.

Four of his relatives played Test cricket for Australia cricket team/Australia: his brother Syd Gregory/Syd won 58 cap (sport)/caps, his cousin Jack Gregory (cricketer)/Jack 24, his uncle Dave Gregory (cricketer)/Dave three and his father Ned Gregory/Ned one. Two more uncles, Arthur and Charles, had short first-class careers.
