Chad Bradford
FameRank: 5

"Chadwick Lee "Chad" Bradford" is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) relief pitcher. He was well known for his extreme Submarine (baseball)/submarine-style pitching, and his success in MLB despite his unconventional delivery and the slow speed at which he threw the ball (his fastball was only in the mid 80-mph range). This led to him figuring prominently in the Michael Lewis (author)/Michael Lewis book Moneyball, which in 2011 was made into the Moneyball (film)/film of the same title. Bradford is played by actor Casey Bond in the film.

I didn't know who Walt was at the time, but it didn't take me long to find out. He had written hits for about everybody. This was my first time in a studio and I wasn't ready for it. I wasn't mature enough. There's a big difference in studio singing and singing live.

A small package of 25 victories.

It was so fast - bam, bam - and than it was over with.

New York is a great situation for me. I worked with Rick Peterson in Oakland and I know what he can do. With all the off-season additions, I'm sure the Mets will be contending for a playoff spot and I want to do all I can to help.

Surprisingly, I sold about 3,000 copies at shows and in communities back home. I knew then we had something.
