I applaud (NWA Head Start). They hired somebody bilingual — it's a tremendous need in the community.

Head Start plays a big role. We start at a younger age to cut the barriers of culture, but education — I think that's more important than anything else.

In my case, Sunday, I didn't know that a tornado was coming because I was watching Spanish TV. The only reason I learned that we had a tornado was because a friend warned me.

It's very diverse. As well as a challenge, it's also an opportunity. I believe we all benefit from each other.

This is a great opportunity to learn about other cultures that we have in the area. Come out and get to know your neighbors because we're afraid of what we don't know.
