I'm ecstatic. I think the kids did just about as good as they could do and I'm very happy with the performance.
With all of their success, I don't want to mess that sport up.
The kids came and either did their best or almost did their best and that's all we can ask. I'm ecstatic for them and I'm looking forward to (today) and having some more bright spots.
She still hasn't had a chance to have much training yet. She used to run the 100 and the 200 but I really think as far as the 800 goes, the sky's the limit with her.
I think by district, there's a good chance of that.
I really think this season's going to be great. So far I've just been really pleased.
A lot of them have been team players. They're trying to step up and do events that maybe they haven't done since maybe seventh or eighth grade.
Our kids are young and competitive and they're running against some really talented kids, but anything can happen on any given day. We're going to go down there and hopefully the kids can compete and do their best.
