"Brett Ratner" is an American filmmaker and music video director. He is known for directing the Rush Hour (film series)/Rush Hour film series, The Family Man, Red Dragon (film)/Red Dragon, X-Men: The Last Stand, and Tower Heist. He was also a producer on the Fox drama series, Prison Break, as well as the black comedy Horrible Bosses and its 2014 Horrible Bosses 2/sequel.

But it's also got a lot of humor. My attraction to it [the show] was that, not only was it smart and compelling, but it also had moments of humanity and humor. These characters are very colorful, and most of the best drama happens when there also is humor.
