We took advantage of some of their mistakes and that's kind of what we've done all year. Anytime somebody's given us a chance, we have taken advantage of it. That's something we've been very good at.
That's a big play. You make big plays like that, you hurt teams.
We had batted him fourth every game and we moved him down today for the first time, just because he looked tight and hadn't swung the bat real well. I think it just relaxed him a little bit.
I guess this means I get to eat first at Thanksgiving.
He looked very strong and due to some circumstances, we had to take him out so we could start him Monday. That kind of changed things, too, because he was throwing really well.
He's really an awfully good hitter. The four position guys that we have back all hit over .300. We think we'll be fine at the plate and the guys that we have filling in are very capable.
