Upon graduating from high School, Hill entered Bowling Green State University. During the summer of 2011, he was invited by Nike, Inc./Nike to help Chinese Taipei men's national basketball team/Taiwan men's basketball team as a consultant. Most recently, Hill was the assistant coach of the Ukrainian national team at the 2014 FIBA World Cup.
