In order to be successful in our efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect from occurring, we count on our community partners. From elected officials, businesses, family members and agency staff to teachers, bus drivers, store clerks and all others who come into contact with families and children. To point: Almost all of us qualify as partners in this effort.
As a community, we honor the courage and dignity of those who rise above their injury and refuse to live their life as a victim. Rather, they live as a survivor. Living life this way demonstrates courage and determination and hope each and every day.
