It's amazing how quickly the game can turn on you if you're going to turn the ball over.

We're much better off than we've been in the past, ... We're more experienced, and we know what we have to do. We're much further along with the offense than we've ever been. It's on the right track.

It's a game of momentum, ... You can't turn the ball over, and you can't give up big plays.

We were very happy going to Hos and never thought twice about it, ... People make decisions in life, and I don't look back, so (making Hostetler the backup) wasn't something that was unexpected to me or the team. He's an excellent recruit and he's going to do a great job.

To win on the road, in a league game opener, it's huge, ... We didn't play extremely well at times, but we played very tough and very hard and our kids stuck through it. It was a great win.

Our defense is good, and we want to be competitive, ... We want to win. We're not just here to hang around and make it close. We need to be consistent.

When we get down inside the red zone we have to come away with points, ... There was a little confusion down there. We have some young guys playing on offense ,and the execution is something we need to get better at.

We've got to score.

They have an excellent offense; they might have the best offense in the league, ... We haven't beaten them in 6 years. To go 2-0 in the league would be huge heading into October. It would be a great opportunity for our program.
