They get a little culture out of it also. And how often do they get to travel with 11 other friends, be away from their parents, in a setting where they still have rules but they also have a little bit of freedom? It's a neat deal.
The whole fund-raising effort to achieve a goal, that's off the basketball court. They may not even be that great of a team, but they can achieve a goal in another aspect of life.
It feels like a breath of fresh air, getting the win. We definitely needed it.
I don't particularly like playing a team three times, because you could see them five times, if you have two really good teams, with league and state playoffs.

Central is a great team, and it can set the tempo for where our season can be. We have enough talent to compete with everyone, it's a matter of a couple guys stepping up and taking on a leadership role.
I believe our record should be a lot better. It's a matter of executing and doing the little things, boxing out, if we can't do those things, that will bite us in the end. We're not talented enough to get away with not doing those things.
