This was a big win for us. Now we play ... Flandreau, and they're an awfully great basketball team who's on a heck of a streak over there.

It was a game of momentum swings and runs, and they (Flandreau) had the final run when they needed it. They stretched the lead, and we had to put them at the foul line ... but their kids stepped up and made big plays in those situations.

We really picked up in the second quarter and they (Flandreau) cooled off, and we had some good contributions from our bench that helped us get back in the ball game.

They (Elkton) are a great team, and they're used to winning. We knew they'd come ready to play tonight, and that's what they did. They brought everything, but our kids responded and showed a lot of composure tonight.

You can't say enough about him. He's a coach on the floor, he keeps us organized and he's a competitor. You always miss a floor leader like Nelson.

He was able to use his length and create some problems for them in there.

We just committed big turnovers, when we were in an offensive flow. You really want to take those possessions and knock down some shots.

We definitely felt like we had the advantage at that time. But they had some role players that just came up with some huge shots.
