It was a business-like approach from the girls. We've been here before and we knew what we had to do to get back there.

North Hall battled and played well. They're so young. They remind me a lot of us two years ago.

Last year we were kind of in awe of playing down there. This time we're going down there to win a game.

North Hall has been playing as well as anyone over the last two weeks and we knew not to take them lightly. They played an outstanding game but we were finally able to wear them down at the end. Our girls just stayed focused and business-like.

You look at the record and you might think that, but they have two girls that are as good as any in the state. One of them was hurt late in the year and has just come back. We will have to be ready to play.

Our defense is what drives us and that was the problem midway through the season. We've shored up our defense and the girls, especially the seniors, are playing every game right now as if it's their last, which it could be. They can score and so can we. Whichever team plays better defense will win.

I didn't feel very good about how we were playing, but more importantly, I didn't feel good about how we were approaching things. We weren't playing hard and seemed to be living on the fact that people thought we were good instead of showing them in our play. But that loss woke us up, I think.

They're very athletic. They rely a lot on transition baskets, and they shoot the three a lot, that sounds a lot like us, really.

That was a lot of senior leadership out there for us, because we shot the ball poorly tonight.
