We'll see if the changes are real. That's the real test.
The situation certainly has improved, no question about it.
It's discouraging, especially since they were considering the fate of one of their own. Clearly, there are very close, long-term personal relationships involved. You'd think they would be especially careful to observe the open-meetings laws.
Citizens are taking time to participate. That's the sunshine that works. Lawmakers do hear the voice of the people if they speak loudly enough.
