"Barbara Kay Roberts" is an American politician from the state of Oregon. A native of the state, she served as the List of Governors of Oregon/34th Governor of Oregon from 1991 to 1995. She is the first and, to date, only List of female state governors in the United States/woman to be elected to that office. A Democratic Party (United States)/Democrat, Roberts was also the first woman to serve as majority leader in the Oregon House of Representatives. She also won two terms as Oregon Secretary of State and served in local and county government in Portland, Oregon/Portland. Roberts was married to Oregon State Senator Frank L. Roberts. From February 2011 until January 2013 she served on the council of Metro (Oregon regional government)/Metro, the regional government in the Portland metropolitan area.

One of the things I like the most in New Orleans are the old buildings, and the real funky little things the old stores. And they are gradually crumbling, and so I photographed them because they appealed to me. Some of these old places may still be intact, but I don't know which ones.

All I know for sure is that I had missed so many hours, and then this came up, ... Usually you have a certain amount of vacation time, and I had used it up. You're also allowed so many unpaid days off, and I'd used them up, too. Fact is, I missed the allotted time and I got fired.
