We gave them the game, they didn't earn it at all. I don't know what to say. Our girls said they gave it 110 percent and that is all we can ask for. It's disappointing to lose, but you have to look at our accomplishments and we overcame a lot of adversity.

But I knew where they were coming from.

We wanted to prove ourselves to the county. And we didn't win by just a couple of runs, so that did a lot for us. This game wasn't about me. It was about our team.

We gave it to them. It's a little hard to swallow, but you have to look to the future and hope to get better at what you do.

People have said we don't play a hard schedule. But (Friday night) we beat one of the better teams around. It was a matter of pride for us.

Kelsey and I are always on the same page. We had a close bond last year, and everyone is like that again. Everybody trusts each other and respects one another on and off the field.

We come out with enthusiasm, and we look to come out and dominate. But we never look past anybody.
