She did a great job. She finished strong for us.
We played good defensively, too. We didn't make any errors. It was good all-around play by everybody.
Our batters have a lot of confidence. It doesn't matter who the opposing pitcher is. They know they're good hitters. That's what got us ahead in the first inning. They weren't intimidated.
Kelly did a great job with that at bat. She was patient. The nature of hitting is you're more likely to be unsuccessful than you are successful. Kelly knows that. She's a very mentally tough player and she came through for us.
Sarah has the most experience on the staff. We're really looking for her to share her experience with the younger pitchers and teach them.
(Catcher) Meg McCormick called a good game. Murray moved the ball around the plate and hit her spots.
We are seeing the ball really well. Not just one or two girls but up and down the lineup.
