"Sir Anthony Lee" was an English courtier and Member of Parliament, and the father of Elizabeth I of England/Elizabeth I's champion, Henry Lee (died 1611)/Sir Henry Lee. He was at the court of Henry VIII of England/Henry VIII in his youth, and served as a Justice of the Peace and Knight of the Shire for Buckinghamshire. He was a close friend of his brother-in-law, the poet Thomas Wyatt (poet)/Thomas Wyatt.

We came out a little flat today, but our defense was solid. Thankfully, we manufactured a few runs early and then started playing better. And Russell Allen pitched another great game for us.

We're expecting people from across the country and even from Europe. Country music is on the upswing again, and everyone wants to learn the latest dances.

This station has so much history to it. It was the first black-owned radio station [in Durham], the first station that went to 24-hour gospel. So many superstars came through this door. Most of the announcers at other stations got their start at WSRC.

This is so much of an emotional day. We'll remember the love that we got from the community ... It's really a part of our lives.
