That's the story of our team all year. We never quit. I knew we would play hard the entire game.

The Temecula Valley is kind of stuck in a corner and we don't get very much recognition for our area, so (the Shootout) is a great way to get some recognition. It's also good for the girls in the area to see some teams that they don't know, and it's just a fun day to see some great games.

In a lot of our games we started down, so the kids don't panic if we get down in the first half. (Granite Hills) let us get the ball inside to Tiffany, and their two best players got in early foul trouble so that took them out of their game.

We've got kids stepping up and playing in positions they haven't been in all year, so it's taking some time. They built up a huge lead, and we put together a good comeback, but it's hard to come back from that far down.
