That's a good year. Three of those (losses) came down to the last match. We're pleased with the 13-4 record. We wrestled a tough schedule.

To say you coached a state championship team in probably one of the premier athletic events in the country, that is an achievement. To be part of that is more than any coach can ask for.

Those three have been steady. All started wrestling in elementary (school). Every Saturday they were going to tournaments.

We wrestled above our seeds. It was totally a team win. If someone doesn't do his job, it doesn't happen. It's as simple as that.
