It's always important for our students to feel safe and secure, ... Even if it's just the UPS guy getting buzzed in, at least my mind is at ease that no one is getting into the building without permission.
It's important for students to feel that they're in a safe, secure environment. This helps us make sure their physiological needs are met, which makes them better able to learn.
We hope in this final fund-raising effort to raise between $15,000 and $20,000 for equipment.
We've already used it.
We are talking Delavan here, but you never know, this way everyone in our community has a nice sense of security.
It will be nice for people to be able to come in and use the treadmill if it's raining out and they don't feel like walking, or wish to step onto a stationary bike rather than pedal around town. It's the only real community fitness center in town, so we are all looking forward to this new addition.
This is definitely a great addition to Delavan, and hopefully paves the way for more to come.
The nice part about it is those cameras are on 24 hours a day.
We're all pretty excited. I know the students are really looking forward to making use of all the equipment we'll have available.
