This was not something I wanted to do; this was not fun.

We would love nothing more than to have Landon back in an Earthquakes uniform, but evidently this is not what he wants. It's clear that his desire, from a personal and professional standpoint, is to play in Los Angeles.

It is not necessarily losing, but how you lose. A few weeks ago we had a bad result against a rival when we needed to make major points at home in front of a big crowd.

But I told them that means nothing. We have a challenge to make the playoffs.

We feel 'The Ripper' can provide some bite and stability in our midfield. He's a no-nonsense player who's shown he has no problem getting down and dirty for the cause.

I'm not going to name names. I also wouldn't rule out our current coach.

We still have an opportunity to make the playoffs and our fans expect and deserve a team that will fight to the end. I felt this change was necessary to help with that endeavor.

People think I came in here with a clear-cut agenda; that is not the case at all.

Bob Bradley gave nothing but loyalty and support to this team.
