"Aisha Jefferson" is an United States/American collegiate basketball player. She is currently playing for Michigan State University.

After earning all-Big Ten freshman recognition for the 2005-06 season and scoring 10.4 points per game as a sophomore, Jefferson was forced to miss the 2007-08 season to undergo surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

She's definitely a great leader. I call her more a player/coach. She's been through it all, she has all the experience that she needs, and she's great to have.

People can punch me in the shoulder and it still probably wouldn't bother me as much as raising my arm above my head. It's definitely scary to feel your shoulder come out, but as the season went on I got used to it.

I just try to get after everything the best way I can. A lot of times I rebound with one arm or steal the ball with one arm. It's very difficult to play with one shoulder, but I try to do the best I can with it.

It wasn't a perfect win, but we came through at the end. We needed a lot of hustle plays and our press wasn't as effective as it's been in the past, but we stepped it up in those crunch minutes in the end. We will learn from this.
