Lauren Castle, wow, what a day for her. I'm so happy for her because I don't think I've ever had a player work as hard, be as passionate and love the game as much as she does. I am so excited for her.

This is what we needed to do today. We were really focused at the plate in the first game and late in the second game. It's fun when everyone gets their feet wet and sees action in the game.

Dani looked very good tonight. She was in complete control after the first inning and really only had one bad pitch in that inning.

It was a productive day at the ballpark. After a shaky beginning I thought we settled down and played some good defense. It seemed like we had a mini-hangover from last night and was very uncharacteristic of this team. We have a great opportunity early in the morning to play another very good opponent.

Mission accomplished. We got to play everybody and we worked on some things that we needed to work on. Now it's on to much bigger and better things.

I thought it was an exceptional day for the Tigers. We hit the ball hard and played good defense. Everyone had a chance to play. The competition gets a little better tomorrow, but overall I was very happy.

The team was very confident in the dugout. We weren't getting many hits, but they kept saying they were seeing the ball. The team has been pumped to play this game since the season started.

I thought it was important for Emily to throw tonight. She had a rough outing against Oregon State and we wanted to give her back a little bit of confidence. She threw hard and I thought her ball moved well. She was in control during the game.

Leslie Klein hit her first home run in two years. She looks like she's back and she loves softball.
