I think it'll be very gratifying for our players to see over the course of two years we've gone from being unranked to people giving us the nod (for No. 1) as a result of our improvement.

You've got to give Ludlow credit. They came out and played hard and played very well. We just didn't get into a rhythm on defense. When we do that we don't look too good.

These polls are nice, but they don't really mean a whole lot. We're two weeks away from (the playoffs) when everything really counts.

It's a very emotional game. And our guys know when things aren't clicking. You're here, with all these people in the stands, and sometimes there's not a lot you can do about it. They were playing great and we just kind of got in a bad rhythm and it just went from there.

Holy Cross outplayed us and they deserved to beat us. Until we prove we can play a full 32 minutes of basketball I don't think anything is a certainty.

Holy Cross is a guard-oriented team that's tough to guard on the perimeter and one night later we face a team with great big men in Pendleton County. It'll be interesting to see how we adapt.

The goal was to try and keep them in the 50s. But when you've got an outfit like that with so many people who can score once they get going it's hard to get them stopped.

Chad came in and played a great game. His shooting was phenomenal. He was a great spark for us in the second quarter.

We set up our schedule hoping to make February as close to what it'll take for us to win the regional tournament. I really think these last four games will have us sitting on go for tournament time.
