Northern Virginia really makes the entire state look good.

Martinsville has come down a lot from a year ago and that's because some new (companies) have moved in there.

The state as a whole is doing well. Unfortunately, a couple of areas, the Danville area probably being the largest, aren't doing well.

The weather was so mild this January there has not been as much an increase as normal. Throughout the winter, claims have run 10 to 15 percent below last year.

Martinsville now seems to be on the mend.

Textile job losses overwhelm the good things.

It seems to be working. If you hadn't have had manufacturing layoffs, everything else tends to be positive.

Northern Virginia is probably about the best labor market in the country and probably some of the best in the world. And with that strong growth there, it's sort of pulling the state along.

Danville continued to have … people laid off at Dan River. Once (Dan River is) gone, things seem to pick up for the people who are left.
