He helped lead the Bulldogs to the 1998 SEC Championship Game and a 10-2 season in 1999, and quarterbacked in the three bowl games, the 1999 Cotton Bowl, 1999 Peach Bowl, and 2000 Independence Bowl, in which he scored the winning touchdown in overtime.
